BUKIT LAWANG TREKKING AND JUNGLE CAMPING 5DAYS 4NIGHTS


Day 1 Kuala Namu International Airport – Bukit Lawang
Welcome to Medan! Upon arival at Kualanamu Airport, you will be welcomed by our officer and guide. You will start your 5-Day Bukit Lawang Trekking and Jungle Camping by proceeding for 3,5-hour journey to Bahorok/Bukit Lawang the home of Orang Utan. Driving northward for about 3hours, you will be treated with vas view of palm oil, rubber and cacao plantation with countryside landscape, and paddy terraces. Stop to see the palm oil and rubber plantation, and the local market in Kuala. Once you arrive in Bukit lawang check-in at hotel in Bukit Lawang . Rest of the day and free on your own leisure.

Day 2 Trek to Jungle Camp 1
After breakfast, you will continue your
5-Day Bukit Lawang Trekking and Jungle Camping. You leaving the comforts behind your trekking adventure starts the mountainous National Park with a steep incline, rewarded with spectacular views and stops for the interesting place as required.
During the course of your trekking over the next few days you will learn the medicinal qualities of the jungle plants – known for centuries to the local people as well as gathering local plants for your jungle lunches and dinners.
Learn about setting up camp in the Sumatran jungle on arrival to your first nights campsite and assist in building a fire to cook your dinner. Your jungle brother is well versed in – “camp cooking” – dine under the stars surrounded by the eerie sounds of the jungle.
Overnight camp.
Lunch and dinner served in the jungle.

Day 3 Jungle Camp 2 – Jamur Batu Atas
This morning you will wake a chorus of wildlife as your early morning of your
5-Day Bukit Lawang Trekking and Jungle Camping. Such as the shy gibbon or massive hornbills in search of fruit. The sheer array of sounds will astound you.
Venture deeper into the jungle, quietly, in the hope of spotting some of the endemic wildlife – such as the magnificent Orangutan. Other, shier species such as the Sumatran Striped Rabbit and many birds and butterflies may also be seen. Today’s terrain is steady through lush jungles and towering trees and ferns.
Learn how your jungle brother teach you the traditional fishing methods as you catch fish for your dinner tonight.
Get a good night’s sleep after your tough day. Lunch and dinner served in the jungle

Day 4 Jamur Batu Atas – Aras Pinang – Bukit Lawang
Arise early this morning for a hearty breakfast and pack up camp before embarking on perhaps the most challenging day of your adventure. The terrain is very steep and your guide will assess everyone’s abilities to ensure the safety of the group. Subject to the conditions the routing on this day can be adjusted to maximize the enjoyment and wellbeing of the group. This trekking will take around 4 hours.
Your guide will keep an eye out for the tell tail signs of Orangutans as you trek through the dense tropical jungle. Aside from Orangutans the plethora of birds and smaller jungle animals are visible through the mottled backdrop of the jungle. At noon arrive at Aras Pinang, where you prepare tube for nice trip through the river back to Bukit Lawang.
Arrive in Bukit Lawang and check in to hotel. Lunch served in the jungle.

Day 5 Bukit Lawang – Kuala Namu International Airport (3 – 3,5 hrs drive)
Today you drive back to Medan to catch your flight to next destination. End of your
5-Day Bukit Lawang Trekking and Jungle Camping with us.
