Arrival in Medan, is the capital of North Sumatera Province
then drive to the cool and pleasant highland town of Berastagi-a mountain
resort with its refreshing weather and magnificent mountain scenery which has
an abundance of flowers, vegetables and fruits (most famous of which is the
"Marquisa" passion fruit).It will take about 2 hours passing through
winding road with lovely countryside. On the way visit Peceren the old Karo Batak village with a
number of traditional houses still being used where eight families live in
together in each house. Arrival in Berastagi visits the local fruit. Overnight in the hotel Grand Mutiara or similar.
Day 02: BERASTAGI – SINGKIL (B)
Today, we leave a province of North Sumatra. It continues to
Singkil in the province of South East Aceh (Aceh Tenggara). On the way we make stops at Sipiso-piso Waterfall, Dokan
Village to see the traditional houses of Karo Batak people, oranges and
vegetable plantations. In the late afternoon, we reach Singkil.
Accommodation in simple guest house.Day 03: SINGKIL ORANG UTAN TOUR (B-L)
Today we make a canoe tour onThe Singkil Swamps (Rawa Singkil)
is a 100.000 Hectares big protected swamp forest on the Western side of the
river, opposite of Singkil. Rawa Singkil is a neighbor to Leuser National Park. It is the home of several species of high interest, such as
Orangutans, Sumatran Tiger, Crocodiles, Wild boar, Mouse deer and much more. The bird life is very rich with many Hornbills. It is easy to see Orangutans in Rawa Singkil. It is almost guaranteed to see Orangutans in the afternoon. An ideal route is towards a swamp lake called Laeterup where
there is a platform standing in the clear but black water. Fishermen come here and fish for Ikan Lele (k.o. catfish). It is possible to stay overnight here with them. It is a very primitive and unique experience. But we will back to your accommodation in Singkil.
Day 04: SINGKIL – PULAU BANYAK (B)
Having breakfast and then we start our trip by speed boat to
Pulau Banyak or Banyak Islands is like a dream come through; uninhabited coral
islands, fantastic beaches, snorkeling, turtles, surfing, pristine jungles and
such a laid-back atmosphere that you will forget time. Banyak Islands consists of 30-40 islands. The locals say 99, but they count big islands several times. Approximately 7.000 people live here. The main village is Desa P. Balai, which forms one settlement
together with the village Desa P. Baguk on the island of Pulau Balai. The other villages are Teluk Nibung, Haloban, Asantola, Ujung
Sialit and Suka Makmur. We stay at very simple guesthouse on Pulau balai.
Day 05: PULAU BANYAK (B)
By Boat we go to Bangkaru Island (Do you want to see turtles
laying eggs on one of the most beautiful islands in the world? You need a
special permit . Please imform us before you book this program). Visits are only allowed at certain times Another Islands
are:.Pulau Tailana is one of the more well known islands amongst visitors to
Pulau Banyak. It was a popular daytrip island and have always had better
snorkeling then most other islands. The island is relatively small, but has many other islands in
its vicinity, for example Pulau Balong, Pulau Matahari and Pulau Ragu-Ragu.
Overnightstay….Day 06:SINGKIL – SIDIKALANG – TELE – SAMOSIR ISLAND (B)
After breakfast we leave Pulau Banyak for Lake Toba.
Our trip via Sidikalang and tele.
At Tele we make stop to enjoy the most beautiful panorama of Lake Toba.
In Pangururan you can visit Hotspring (possible to take a bath).
Late afternoon check in to Tabo Cottagges for overnightstay.
Day 07: SAMOSIR ISLAND (B)
Free Program but anytime you can use our transport
Day 08: SAMOSIR ISLAND – PARAPAT – MEDAN (B)
We leave Toba, Lake for Medan..
In the afternoon we arrive in Medan.
City tour with visits to include: Sultan Palace and Mesjid Raya/great Mosque.
Overnight at Hotel Garuda Plaza or similar.
Day 09: MEDAN – AIRPORT (B)
After breakfast transfer to the airport.
