The Leuser National Park in North Sumatra, is one of the last places you can experience the rainforest at its best. It is also one of the largest national parks in the world containing over 800,000 ha of virgin rainforest. The home where is the closest primate to humanoid so called Orang Utan while being trained and prepared for release back into their natural habitat.

Trip Itineraries :
DAY 01: Airport – check-in hotel - Pickup by air-con car from Kuala Namu Airport ( 30minutes) and transport to your hotel in Medan. Free program

DAY 02 : Medan - Bukit Lawang – After breakfast and check-out hotel, drive to Bukit Lawang ( 3,5 hours ). Upon arrival check-in to your hotel to put your lugages, than you will take for jungle trekking with your local guide to see the orang utan, evening return to your hotel. Junia Cottage or smiliar, River View Room, bathroom with western toilet and fan, balcony with jungle/river view.

DAY 03: " Tangkahan Off Road Adventure" (1-Full day tour): Off road tour by 4-wheel drive to Tangkahan (2,5 hours), on the way you pass villages and plantations and stop at several places for panoramic views: includes Elephant trekking and a lot of fun washing elephants in the Buluh River, operated by our partner CRU/LPT Tangkahan, local guide, lunch, all permits, driver, petrol. Starts at 09:00 am. Stay another night in Bukit Lawang, River View Room, bathroom with western toilet and hot water shower, fan. 

DAY 04: Tangkahan – Medan - Transfer Airport - After breakfast and check-out hotel, you will drive back to Medan, on arrival you will visit Maimon palace. therafter drive to the airport to catch your flight back.

Package includes: Transportation during the tour, 3nights hotel as accomodation, driver cum guide, petrol, parking, ferry ride, mineral water, entrance to see the orang utan + jungle trekking + Elephant Trekking + Elephant Wasing, and daily breakfast.
